In 2021, insurando conducted various satisfaction surveys on health insurers among Swiss consumers. The rating of health insurance companies is based on the experiences of more than 10,000 individuals who voted on customer satisfaction.

Low-cost health insurance will not necessarily be the best. For example, Assura has the worst rating according to the experiences of insured persons. But Assura is one of the least expensive health insurance providers in Switzerland. In terms of customer satisfaction, Swica has the best ratings of all health insurers, but it is relatively average in terms of premiums.
