Data processing and use

insurando AG stores and processes personal data when you use insurando.ch services. Personal data is collected and stored, among other things, in the case of online forms, email correspondence, telephone calls, and comparison and premium calculators. Personal data includes master data such as surname, first name, marital status, email address(es), telephone number, address, gender, date of birth and details of your current insurance cover.

Use of your personal data

We (insurando AG) use the personal data you provide primarily to process your request/application and to forward it to the appropriate office/company or to the one you have requested. insurando AG is free to transfer or make available the personal data/datasets to any insurance company, broker, contractual partner or partner company – in compliance with the legal provisions.

First and foremost, insurando.ch wishes to be able to maintain its free and transparent premium and insurance comparison service. By submitting your personal data to insurando.ch, you also consent to its storage and subsequent processing and use.

Marketing

The personal data transferred via insurando.ch may be used for marketing purposes, in particular opinion research, direct marketing and/or online marketing, telephone and email marketing.

Fraud prevention / protection against abuse

insurando AG may also collect and store personal and non-personal data (IP addresses, device information, etc.) for the purpose of combating fraud and abuse and may share it with security solution providers and law enforcement agencies – to the extent permitted by law.
